taco seasoning mix packets, 1.25 oz each
1/4 c
water
1 can(s)
refried beans, vegetarian style canned (Rosarita preferred), 30 oz.
8 oz
cheese, shredded (sharp cheddar or mexican blend preferred)

sour cream (optional)
·
guacamole (optional)
·
tomatoes, diced or salsa
·
tortilla chips, baked
·
black olives (optional)

How to Make Working Mom's Layered Nachos


Browned turkey with taco seasoning added.
Brown turkey in a pan. Add taco seasoning and water, then continue cooking until saucy but not too "soupy" (just a couple minutes).

 Adding a layer of refried beans to a baking dish.
In a 13x9 glass dish, add a bean layer.
Topping the beans with the ground turkey.
Then top with the ground meat.
A layer of turkey sprinkled onto ground turkey.
Top with cheese.
Baking dish covered with aluminum foil.
Cover with foil.
Mixture baked until the cheese is bubbly.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Beans, ground turkey, and cheese mixture scooped out of the baking pan.
Serve with chips, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and any other garnish desired. Enjoy!!
