Ingredients
BAKED DONUTS:
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoons butter melted
CINNAMON TOPPING:
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
CINNAMON ICING:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
WHITE ICING:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons milk
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a donut pan with non-stick cooking spray.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, sugar, and salt. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together milk, egg, and melted butter.
- Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients, whisking together until there are no longer any clumps. Spoon about 3 tablespoons of the batter into each donut slot in the pan.
- In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon topping ingredients well, until its all an even consistency. Sprinkle the mixture over the donut batter.
- Bake in the oven for 7-9 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 2 minutes in the donut pan, then transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool completely.
- In a small bowl, stir together the cinnamon icing ingredients until smooth. Transfer the icing to a sealable bag, cut a small hole in the tip, and drizzle over the donuts until it’s covered to your liking, or it runs out.
- In a separate small bowl, stir together the white icing ingredients. Transfer the icing to a sealable bag, cut a small hole in the tip, and drizzle over the donuts until it’s covered to your liking, or it runs out. Allow the icing to dry about 10-20 minutes before serving.
